"For nearly 20 years, my wife and I attended a church where we were comfortable, but we also knew something was missing. We wanted a church that preached the Gospel and applied it to our daily lives (marriage, parenting, relationships, work, witnessing, finances etc.). Though it was difficult, we eventually decided to search for a church that was better suited to meet our family’s needs. I knew Pastor Gordon Nelson and his family ouside of the church setting and was very impressed with their witness and his children’s manners and behavior. Even so, when we first visited BBFC, it was with little expectation that we would settle there. After our first visit to BBFC, my wife and I commented, almost simultaneously, that we felt like dry sponges soaking up the biblically based teaching we had received. Having attended the church for a year, our entire family looks forward to each service with appreciation for the consistently practical preaching, teaching and counseling. The bonds of love and friendship we have developed there have been a great blessing and benefit to our family."
